Welcome to my Electronic Portfolio!
I am Joshua Blackburn, a student of the University of Alabama - Huntsville Education Program. The Fall 2013 semester was my first semester to be enrolled in the Education Program, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! Now I will tell you a little more about why I created this site -
The purpose of this website is to discuss and demonstrate the various teaching and strategies taught in the EDC-311 (Instructional Strategies for Inclusive Classrooms) course. These strategies can be used in any inclusive classroom to better differentiate your instructional methods.
These strategies along with a description, graphic organizer, and associated lesson plan can be found under the "EDC-311 Teaching Strategies" tab at the top of this page.
I have also utilized this site for my Technology in the Classroom course which has taught me about the many opportunities technology opens up for teachers in the 21st century! If you click on the Technology in the Classroom link, you will be directed to a page full of innovative tools that are perfect for utilizing in any classroom. I hope you find them helpful to fit the needs of your students!
Thank you for visiting my website, and I hope you are able to learn something from these various strategies and tools and utilize them in your own classroom.
Regards,
Joshua Blackburn
